Dr Mikao Usui
Usui Reiki is a gentle, calming and relaxing hands on energy healing therapy that was rediscovered in Japan in the 19th Century by Dr Mikao Usui. It is based on ancient Ki/Prana/Chi techniques from the Buddhist Sutras and Ancient Indian Sanskrit Vedas.
A Reiki session is an opportunity to deeply relax.
This allows your body to move into its 'rest and repair' parasympathetic nervous system mode, which naturally activates the innate and spontaneous healing mechanisms of the body. The facilitator channels Universal Life Force (Ki, Chi, Prana), into your body via hands on transmission which gently cleanses any tension, blockages, disharmony, dis-ease and stress from your system.
