Dr Usui was a contemporary of the Martial Arts developers in Japan in the late 1800's and Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki (Dr Mikao Usui style technique Reiki) is a structured practice with a similar attention to focussed intention, meditative mind states and technical training passed from Master to Student.
Your facilitator at Natures Vibration - Shairin Farrell was attuned to Level one Usui Shiki Ryoho in June 2006, Level two in November 2006 and Level three, the Master/Teacher Level with the addition of Tibetan Reiki in July 2007 by Reiki Master/Teacher Jo Hobart. Over the course of these 18 months the atunement workshops were built on during monthly Reiki Share workshops where Reiki was practised and discussed with other students and the Master/Teacher (Sensei in Japanese language).

The Usui Shiki Ryoho style is a straightforward method that anyone can learn. It retains the essence of the original teachings through the 'Western' branch of Usui Reiki brought to us through Mrs Takata and is simple yet deeply comforting and effective.
Tibetan Reiki is an addition to the Level Three training which incorporates Tibetan symbols and breathwork which add another dimension to this naturally healing therapy.
Shairin has also received an Empowerment of the Tibetan Medicine Buddha from a Tibetan Buddhist Nun at the Tara Kadampa Centre in West End Brisbane. In 2008 Shairin was a Reiki Practitioner at Sakura Lounge in Melbourne and has continued to provide Reiki therapy and training throughout Queensland to the present day.
